From an internet article by Chris Wright, U.S. Healthcare expert and author for ‘The Wrightstuff’…

“Most disabled people immobilized by injury or disorder would choose almost any other mobility aid than a crutch….. Crutches chafe the skin on hands, underarms, and elsewhere, producing painful welts and abrasions. Simply put, crutches are uncomfortable - at least in their just-dispensed form. That's why a person would be crazy not to take advantage of reasonably priced crutch accessories to ease the way”.

From an email sent by John Walsh, a C9 customer…

“I have recently had a knee replacement operation. For the first 3 days I was utilising standard crutches and even within this short time the skin on my hands had become very raw and sensitive; and calluses had started to form.

I was introduced to the C9's which gave comfort to both my hands and arms. It is now over 3 weeks since the operation and I am pleased to say that the skin on my hands is back to normal, and the C9's have undoubtedly made my mobility more comfortable”.

I found your website after searching in desperation for something to put on my crutches to make them comfortable. I ordered the C9s on a Tuesday night and received them on the Thursday. I love them; and the Circlip covers are also wonderful.”.

From an email sent by Samantha of SW London, a C9 customer…

Luckily I now have a boot so am only using one crutch, but I'm due surgery on the other foot next year, so I will end up using these again. They'll definitely stay in the back of my cupboard for emergencies. Thanks again for the communication, support and advice. It's good to see businesses still going that extra mile.”.

Thanks for the C9's and the extra circlip covers! They have been great for my son who recently had an operation on his foot.”.

From an email sent by Jennifer G of Suffolk, a C9 customer…

As you predicted I now actually like the bright orange covers and they have washed well! They definitely put across a positive fun image rather than a negative dull one. Being more comfortable also means I get a lot more exercise. Think I actually overdid it on a couple of occasions, but still great for my morale though! Using the covers right from the start would have been more effective, I'm sure. It's a shame that the NHS don't promote your product directly. I now can't imagine not using them.”.

From an email sent by Sally of Ashford, Kent, a C9 customer…

I fitted the covers and decided to go shopping again yesterday to try them out. Can I just say that the experience was a lot more pleasurable than the first time and the covers work wonders.

I’ll certainly model them for you when I visit the fracture clinic at the end of the month and will mention them to the staff in the Plaster Room. Good luck for the future and many thanks again for inventing something that makes the whole crutches experience more bearable”.
